Swing Bed Services

Is Swing Bed right for you or your loved one?

Swing Bed is an alternative to a skilled nursing facility stay for post-hospital rehabilitation. Swing Bed services are unique to Critical Access Hospitals and are covered by Medicare and most insurance companies with a three day or longer hospitalization. Swing Bed allows patients a little extra time to regain strength after an illness, surgery or injury in a peaceful environment close to home.

Our facility features luxurious, spacious private rooms designed to promote healing and peace of mind. With serene interiors, modern amenities, and personalized attention, every detail is crafted to support your wellness journey.

The Swing Bed Program at Lafayette Hospital + Clinics provides quality clinical services of nursing and rehab (PT, OT and speech therapy), as well as other ancillary services as needed. Our commitment to you is to provide evidenced-based care that will meet Medicare standards and patient goals for recovery.

Swing Bed Services are provided 24 hours a day, with registered nurses always available.

Whether you’re here for short-term recovery or extended care, experience a new standard in healthcare—where clinical excellence and comfort go hand in hand.

Your care deserves more than just treatment—it deserves a place to thrive.
