Lafayette Hospital + Clinics

Urgent Care

When illness or injury occurs, Lafayette Hospital + Clinics Urgent Care can provide quality medical care weekday mornings, weekends, and holidays. Patients may call first; however, no appointment is necessary to receive care. It is a cost-saving alternative to the hospital emergency room when your regular clinic is closed. For those times when you aren’t feeling well or have sustained a small injury and feel as though you shouldn’t wait to be seen by a health care provider, Urgent Care is designed for you.

Phone: (608) 776-4466 | Hours: Monday-Thursday: 7 am – 9 am
Friday: 7 am – 9 am and 5 pm – 10 pm
Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 9 am – 10 pm

When is Urgent Care appropriate?

Urgent Care is for non-life-threatening illness and injury such as:

  • Coughs and congestion
  • Small Cuts requiring stitches
  • Ear infections
  • Fevers
  • Flu symptoms
  • Insect bites

  • Rashes
  • Scrapes and bruises
  • Sore throats
  • Strains
  • Upper respiratory infections
  • Wound rechecks

Please note that Urgent Care patients are seen in order of arrival. Emergency patients are seen in order of the severity of their condition. Urgent Care and the Emergency Department share a waiting room. If you are waiting, and see other patients get called back for treatment ahead of you, it may be due to their condition. The staff will keep you informed of when you will be taken in for treatment. If you have questions at any time during your visit, please ask.
