Lafayette Hospital + Clinics Foundation Announces 2025 Scholarship Recipients

The Lafayette Hospital + Clinics (LHC) Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 healthcare scholarship awards. Each selected student will receive a $1,000 scholarship to support their ongoing education in a health-related field.

To be considered, applicants were required to meet several criteria: they must be residents of Lafayette County, currently pursuing a degree in a health-related field, have completed at least one year of post-secondary education, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and have not received this award within the past 12 months.

The 2025 Scholarship recipients are:

Catie Blosch, Darlington; Daughter of Donald and Heather Blosch and a 2023 graduate of Darlington High School. Catie is pursuing a Pre-Physician Assistant degree at UW-Platteville, WI.

Mila Gille, Darlington; Daughter of Ryan and Heidi Gille and a 2022 graduate of Darlington High School. Mila is pursuing a Pre-Medicine degree at UW-Madison, WI.

Madelyn Huschitt, Argyle; Daughter of Carl and Michelle Huschitt and a 2020 graduate of Black Hawk High School. Madelyn is pursuing a nursing degree at Clark University.

Jenna Meier, Gratiot; Daughter of Randy and Christy Meier and a 2023 graduate of Black Hawk High School. Jenna is pursuing a nursing degree at Edgewood College.

Ella Woodworth, Shullsburg; Daughter of Mike and Tammy Woodworth and a 2023 graduate of Shullsburg High School. Ella is pursuing a Physical Therapy degree at UW LaCrosse.

“The LHC Foundation is committed to investing in the future of local healthcare by supporting the education of deserving students,” said MaryJo Ericson, Foundation Member and Scholarship Chair.  “Each recipient has demonstrated both academic achievement and a clear dedication to the health sciences. We encourage anyone pursuing a career in the healthcare field, to apply next year.”

“Since its inception in 2006, the LHC Foundation has proudly awarded scholarships to local students to help alleviate financial burdens and encourage careers in healthcare—a growing need in our region and beyond.” Stated Lance Lancing, LHC Foundation President.

This year’s recipients represent a diverse group of aspiring healthcare professionals, and the Foundation congratulates each of them on their achievements and future contributions to the field.
